I’m not completely sure what cafetoque is going to be.  For now, it will document my attempt to learn to draw and find direction.

Why cafetoque?                                                                                                            Simply, toques make me happy.   When I put one on, I feel protected and cozy. I love the word, “toque.” I love that toques are Canadian. I also love breakfast and have imagined that if I ever opened a breakfast joint, it would be called Café Toque.  (The Toque Lounge would be its after-hours counterpart.) As I am unlikely to open a breakfast restaurant or an after-hours bar, cafetoque has become the name of a blog.
